How to do it
- Open Trim and drop your file in, or pick it from your device. It stays on your device.
- Check the settings. Drag the Start and End sliders. Keep Fast unless you need frame-exact cuts.
- Press Run, then preview and download the result.
Fast or precise?
Videos are stored in groups of frames that start with a keyframe. A lossless cut can only start on a keyframe, so fast mode may begin up to a second or two before your chosen start. For most clips that's invisible.
When the first frame matters, for a meme, a loop or a clean edit, choose Precise. It re-encodes only the part you keep, at high quality, and never at a higher bitrate than the source.

Questions
- Does trimming reduce quality?
- Fast mode doesn't touch the picture at all. Precise mode re-encodes at high quality; differences are very hard to see.
- Can I trim audio files?
- Yes. MP3, M4A and other audio files can be trimmed the same way.
- Can I cut several pieces out?
- The tool keeps one continuous section. Run it again on the result for further cuts.
