How to do it

- Check the settings. MP3 is preselected. Choose Voice for speech, Standard for most things or High for 320 kb/s.

Which quality should I choose?
Voice is mono and small, made for podcasts, lectures and interviews (about 241 KB per minute). Standard is variable-bitrate MP3 that most people can't tell from the original (about 357 KB per minute). High is 320 kb/s constant bitrate (about 2.3 MB per minute).
Turn on Level loudness if the recording is too quiet or uneven. Frameloom evens it out to a comfortable listening level.

- Can I convert to other formats?
- Yes. The same tool exports M4A (AAC), Opus, WAV and FLAC.
- Does it work with MOV, MKV or WebM?
- Yes. Any video file with an audio track works, whatever the format.
- Is the audio re-encoded?
- For MP3 it has to be. If you choose M4A and the video already has AAC audio, it's copied without any quality loss.
