Make a video square
Square (1:1) and portrait (4:5) videos take up more of the feed than landscape ones. Frameloom converts any video to either shape without stretching it: fitted on a blurred background, cropped to fill, or padded.

How to do it
- Open Reframe for social and drop your file in, or pick it from your device. It stays on your device.
- Check the settings. 1:1 is preselected. Switch to 4:5 for the taller feed format.
- Press Run, then preview and download the result.
Square or 4:5?
4:5 is the tallest shape most feeds show in full, so it takes the most space on screen. 1:1 is a safe choice that looks right everywhere, including profile grids.
Both are made at 720p or 1080p on the short side, with sound kept.

Questions
- Will my video be stretched?
- Never. The picture is always scaled evenly, then either fitted on a background or cropped.
- Can I choose which part is kept when cropping?
- Crop to fill keeps the centre. For off-centre subjects, the blurred background option keeps the whole frame.
- Which formats work?
- Any common video format. The result is an MP4.
